What is a Waiter?

A waiter is someone who waits on tables in a restaurant.

What qualifications are required to become a Waiter?

1. Ability to take orders and respond quickly to guests' needs.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to interact professionally with guests while keeping a positive attitude.

3. Previous experience working in a restaurant or as a waiter/waitress is ideal, but not required! Waiter training courses are available that provide the necessary knowledge and skills for success in this career field.

4. Must be physically fit – constantly moving around the restaurant serving food and drinks requires stamina and strength, which many waiters have in abundance!

5. Good organizational skills – being able to keep track of multiple tasks at once can be challenging, so good attention-to-detail is essential for any successful waiter/waitress candidate
