What qualifications are required to become a Waiter?

1. A valid driver’s license is required.

2. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

3. Previous waitressing experience may help, but isn't necessary.

At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States without needing a visa or other documentation of residency status (i e., green card holders are generally exempt from this requirement) . 5 Generally speaking, most restaurants will require that their waiters have some form of culinary training such as cooking or baking basics; however, many establishments also accept applicants with minimal kitchen experience who can show an interest and willingness to learn about food preparation and service concepts
