What is a Waiter?

A waiter is a person who waits on customers in restaurants. They may be responsible for taking orders, bringing food and drink to the customer's table, clearing plates and glasses, refilling drinks, and anything else that needs to be done while the customer is eating or drinking.

What qualifications are required to become a Waiter?

1. A person must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

2. Waiter's need to be able to handle themselves well under pressure and stay calm in difficult situations.

3. They should be organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with a good attention for details when it comes to serving food or drinks customers.

4. Waiter's must have the ability to work quickly yet accurately so that everyone can get their orders in a timely manner without dealing with long lines or wait times; this includes knowing how much time each dish takes to prepare as well as being able to keep track of multiple tables simultaneously while moving around them efficiently/quickly enough not create any messes along the way (and still managing one’s own personal hygiene).

5. Finally, waiter's need great people skills – they should know how best To interact with guests at all levels from casual conversation over appetizers & entrees, through dessert courses etc., always keeping an eye on both what is said & done by others within earshot
