What is a Waiter?

A waiter is a person who helps waiters andwaitresses with serving food and drinks to customers. They may also be responsible for clearing away any plates or glasses that are not used, disposing of garbage, cleaning up the restaurant, or helping out in other ways around the establishment.

What qualifications are required to become a Waiter?

1. A good Waiter should be able to keep a calm demeanor under pressure and have excellent customer service skills.

2. Waiter must be able to work quickly and efficiently in order to serve customers properly.

3. Waiter should have knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, food items and menu items so that they can recommend dishes or drinks to their guests without having any prior information about them.

4. In addition, the waiter must be physically fit enough for long hours on feet (often standing), as well as possess basic kitchen sanitation abilities (washing hands). 5 . Lastly, the ideal candidate will also enjoy interacting with people and working in a team environment
