1. Awaitress must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

2. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a busy restaurant setting.

3. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, as many restaurants require waitresses to serve tables both indoors and outdoors.

4. Requires good organizational abilities, as they will need to keep track of the orders being handed out by the cooks, make sure that all items on the menu are available, ensure customers are comfortable while dining in the restaurant etc.,etc..

5 . Waiter’s Assistant certification or equivalent is typically required for those aspiring to become Waitresses
