A Warehouse Supervisor is a responsible individual who oversees the operations and logistics of warehousing facilities. They are typically in charge of managing personnel, inventory, and shipping processes.
A warehouse supervisor typically holds a college degree in business, management or industrial engineering. They must also have experience supervising workers and be able to effectively communicate with them. In addition, they should possess good organizational skills and be able to keep track of inventory levels.
1. Proven experience managing a warehouse or logistics operation of at least 1,000 square feet in size.
2. Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both staff and customers.
3. Experience tracking inventory levels, preparing reports, and making decisions based on data analysis.
4. Knowledge of basic safety procedures for handling dangerous goods and working with heavy machinery .
