Welder cum Fabricator Job in Dubai

Job Description

Your job description would include but is not limited to: • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. • Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements) • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. • Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces. • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead) • Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. • During working hours, perform all tasks with the appropriate safety gear. • Coordinate with designer and production manager regarding each project • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. • Study and interpret assembly instructions. • Determine the appropriate cutting / welding equipment or method based on requirements. • Fabricate and assemble structural metal products. • Read and interpret blueprints and sketches. • Interpret measurements. • Operate equipment, including but not limited to lathes, mills, drill press, press-breaks, shears, and cutting tables. • Prepares, fabricates and welds various metal constructions, components and structures • Work from patterns and blueprints, using a variety of tools and machines to make metal parts or assemble components • Training others, Welders etc.

How much salary can I expect?

Your salary will depend on your skills and experience. You can expect a minimum salary of AED 1000, but you could earn up to AED 2000 if you meet the company's requirements.

What qualifications are required to become a Welder cum Fabricator?

1. A Welder cum Fabricator must have a degree in welding or fabricating from an accredited school.

4. Welders are often required to have experience working with gas torches and cutting equipment as well as machine skills such as drilling, milling, threading, filing etc..
