Acme Enterprises is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Automobile Electrician in their office located in BAHRAIN. They are a HR CONSULTANCY with a team of 11-50 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A Automobile Electrician is a tradesman who installs, repairs and maintains electrical systems in automobiles. They may work on both domestic and imported vehicles, depending on the make or model of car being serviced. Automobile electricians are typically required to have an associate degree or higher in automotive technology from an accredited school; many also hold certification from organizations such as The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) or The International Technical Accreditation Board for Electrotechnical Systems (ITAB). In addition to repairing electrical components within cars, automobile electricians often perform preventative maintenance tasks such as replacing air filters and checking oil levels.
1. A minimum of an associate's degree in automotive technology is generally required for most Automobile Electrician careers, although some employers may accept a diploma or equivalent from an accredited program.
2. SomeAutomobile Electricians need experience working with electrical systems on cars or motorcycles before they can be hired, and others may have background in mechanics and electronics that qualifies them to work on car electrics as well.
3. Many positions require certification through the National Institute for Standards & Technology (NIST) Auto Electrical Testing Technician-Basic Level (AETT-BL). This certification requires passing two NIST examinations: The Fundamentals of Vehicle Electrification I exam and The Fundamentals of Vehicle Electrification II exam .
4. In order to maintain proficiency in current industry practices and technologies, many Automotive Electricians undergo regular continuing education programs such as those offered by professional organizations like the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
5. Like other skilled trades professionals, Automobile Electricians often possess specialized skillsets which give them an edge when competing for jobs – these include strong problem solving abilities, excellent communication skills, knowledge about vehicle wiring diagrams and schematics , familiarity with common tools used in auto repair shops , etc

2. Knowledge of wiring methods and materials.
3. Experience in installing car electronics (e-brake, navigation system etc.).
4. Familiarity with tools required for automotive work (soldering iron, crimping tool etc.)
