What is a Beautician?

A beautician is a person who helps people look their best by doing things like styling hair, applying makeup, and giving massages.

What qualifications are required to become a Beautician?

1. Experience in the beauty industry is a requirement for many cosmetology schools, but other than that there are no specific qualifications required to become a beautician.

2. Skills in hair styling and makeup application are common among candidates, as well as knowledge of skincare products and procedures.

3. Many cosmetology school programs have classes on anatomy, physiology, chemistry and sanitation; however, these topics aren't always mandatory for graduation qualification purposes across all schools.

4. Physical stamina and coordination are important when applying make-up or hairstyling techniques; some students also take courses related to ergonomics (how to use tools safely) or manual labor skills such as hairdressing cape work or setting nails accurately.$5-$7/hour may be earned working at salons after completing training$8-$10/hour may be earned with experience
