What is a Block Mason?

A Block Mason is a Freemason who has completed the three degrees: Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason.

What qualifications are required to become a Block Mason?

A. A minimum of 2 years block masonry experience is required

B. Must be a Master Mason

C. Ability to read and write English fluently

D. Meet all other requirements for membership in the Masonic fraternity

What are the skills required to become a Block Mason?

5. The ability to read and understand blueprints

4. The ability to use a saw or other construction tools

3. Knowledge of how blocks work together as part of a building

2. Strong working knowledge of masonry techniques and practices
