What is a Block Mason?

A Block Mason is a Freemason who has completed the 3rd degree, or Master Mason.

What qualifications are required to become a Block Mason?

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in masonry is required to become a Block Mason.

2. Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to read and write English fluently.

3. Must have successfully completed an apprentice program with a qualified Master Mason before being admitted as a Block Mason, or possess equivalent qualifications recognized by the Masonic Order.

4. Possesses good character and has strong work ethic; must also meet eligibility requirements set forth by each Grand Lodge affiliated with The United States Masonic Association (USMA).
