1. JOB PURPOSE • Prepares and serves products in the Butchery/Fish/Pork section as per standards of display, maintenance and orderliness. • To provide excellent direct and indirect customer service to customers at the Butchery section 2. KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS • Achievement of section sales target • Preparation of standard sized portions and cuts: trim, debone, ties, roast, mince marinate. Prepare meat products such as sausage, pies & burgers • Provide direct and indirect customer service to customers • Monitors stock level, ordering, receiving of stock, wastage and shrinkage • Hygiene & Sanitation, good preparation practices • Proper handling of tools and equipment • Any other store activity as assigned by the supervisor 5. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT • Job location might change based on business requirement. Job holder may be relocated to any outlet or department. • The working environment is physically demanding of time such as working long hours, working on holidays, & demands physical agility, integrity and reliability • Job demands multi-cultural awareness, in order to effectively communicate with internal & external customers and vendors with courtesy. • Job involves individual handling of work assigned as well as be a part of the team and operational process.
