What is a Car AC Technician?

A car AC technician is someone who repairs, replaces or installs air conditioning in cars. They may also be called a HVAC technician or an A/C mechanic.

What qualifications are required to become a Car AC Technician?

In order to become a Car AC Technician, you will need: 1. A high school diploma or equivalent; 2. Two years of experience working on cars and/or trucks; 3. Basic knowledge of car mechanics and electronics systems; 4. Skill in using common tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets and hammers 5. Strong problem-solving skills
