What qualifications are required to become a Gypsum Worker?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Must be in good physical condition and able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and work with hands and arms extended overhead.

3. Should have experience working with gypsum products such as wallboard or ceiling tiles before applying for the job title of Gypsum Worker.

4. Familiarity with basic construction tools including a sawsaw blade; hammer; screwdriver; drills bit sizes #0-7/16″ (6mm); hand level ; tape measure etc., are helpful but not necessary qualifications when becoming a Gypsum Worker .

5.. The ability to read blueprints , inspect structures closely while walking on uneven surfaces , interpret diagrams correctly under pressure during demolition projects , make quick decisions about how best to proceed given unforeseen problems are important qualities that employers look for in potential employees
