Head chefs typically have years of experience in the culinary arts and are responsible for directing the activities of their staff. They may also be involved in creating new menus, selecting ingredients, and supervising daily operations.
A Head Chef must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the food industry. They must be able to work with different types of cuisine and maintain high standards for their kitchen. They must also have excellent organizational skills and be able to lead a team.
