What is a Heavy Driver?

A heavy driver is a type of truck that has been designed for carrying heavier loads than regular trucks. They are usually bigger and have more weight capacity, which means they can transport larger items with less difficulty. Heavy drivers also tend to be faster and require less maintenance than other types of trucks.

What qualifications are required to become a Heavy Driver?

1.A valid driver’s license from a U.S or Canadian province

2. Progressive training and experience as a heavy truck driver

3. A clean driving record, with no violations within the past three years including traffic accidents and moving violations

4. Maintaining an appropriate vehicle weight and size for the route being traveled (see Truck Specifications)

5. Able to work weekends, holidays, night shifts when necessary
