A Housekeeping Executive is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a housekeeping department. This may include overseeing staff, organizing and managing supplies, preparing schedules and budgets, setting standards for performance and communicating with customers. They also frequently coordinate with other departments within the organization such as maintenance or marketing in order to provide seamless service to clients/customers.
1. Proven experience as a housekeeping professional in an upscale hotel or restaurant setting
2. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
3. Excellent communication and coordination abilities with other departments within a facility
4. Experience working independently as well as coordinating team effort
5. Ability to effectively handle difficult customers
1. The ability to be organized and have a good attention to detail
2. Strong communication skills as they need to coordinate with other workers in the housekeeping department
3. Experience working in a cleaning environment is helpful, but not required
4. Previous experience managing budgets or overseeing work schedules would also be beneficial
