Rokadiya Overseas is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of HVAC Technician in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a HR CONSULTANCY with a team of 11-50 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A HVAC technician is a professional who installs, repairs, or maintains heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. They may also work on boiler installations and water heaters. A typical career path for a HVAC technician includes completing an apprenticeship program and then working their way up the ladder through various levels of experience. Many technicians are required to have certification in order to maintain licensure.
1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Basic knowledge of air conditioning and heating systems is a must, as well as experience in working with these systems.
3. Previous experience repairing HVAC equipment is preferred, but not necessary.
4. Skillful use of tools, including computers and electricity are essential for the career path of a technician; many contractors prefer technicians who have at least an intermediate level of skill using both hands-on and technical skillsets when servicing their customers’ units/installations .
5..A valid license to operate heavy machinery such as drills or saws may be beneficial
1. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in a building
2. Experience with air conditioning, heating, venting, refrigeration or other environmental controls

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. 4. Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. 5. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. 6. Providing technical direction and on-the-job training. 7. Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. 8. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. 9. Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers requirements. 10. Assisting with customers queries. Requirements: *2+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field. *Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating. *Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. *Proficient in reading schematics and work plans. *Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice. *Ability to work in confined spaces.
