What is a Industrial Electrician?

Industrial electricians are responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems. They may also be involved in the installation of new electrical systems.

What qualifications are required to become a Industrial Electrician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and applicants must have passed an apprenticeship program.

2. Applicants should be able to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, etc., as well as use basic math skills for time/temperature calculations and wire sizing.

3. Experience working with mechanical equipment (elevators, pumps) is preferred but not necessary; trainees can learn on the job through hands-on training in industrial settings.

4. Good hand-eye coordination is a plus – Industrial Electricians need to know how to handle tools safely while working up close alongside machines - including using power tools such as saws and drills!

5. Candidates must be physically fit enough to work long hours standing or walking around factories – often in areas with poor air quality due to emissions from machinery
