What is a Industrial Electrician?

An industrial electrician is a skilled professional who installs, repairs and maintains electrical systems in various industries. They may work on large or small projects, and often must be knowledgeable in multiple disciplines such as engineering, construction management and safety. Industrial electricians typically have at least an associate's degree in electricity or another related field.

What qualifications are required to become a Industrial Electrician?

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial setting is required to become a Industrial Electrician.

2. Must have knowledge in electrical wiring, installation and troubleshooting principles.

3. Must be able to read blueprints and understand the function of equipment within an industrial setting.

4. Strong attention to detail is necessary for this position as mistakes can lead to safety concerns or even loss of life if not corrected quickly enough! 5 . must have proficient use of computers, software programs and tools related specifically to electricianship
