Kites Manpower Consultant is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Instrument Technician in their office located in SAUDI ARABIA. They are a HR CONSULTANCY with a team of 2-10 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A Instrument Technician is a technician who repairs and maintains instruments used in various scientific and industrial applications. They may also be responsible for calibrating these devices, or performing other maintenance tasks. Instrument Technicians typically have an advanced degree in science or engineering, as well as several years of experience working with instrumentation.
Instrument technicians typically have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong math skills. They may also need certification from an instrument technician organization, such as the National Technical Association for Acoustic Instruments (NTAAI). Instrument technicians usually work with acoustic instruments, which can include pianos, guitars, drums, violins and other stringed instruments.

Functions:- Calibrate, Testing and troubleshooting of all types of field instruments as per International/Manufacturer standards. Calibration of transmitters and gauges. Replacement of switches, solenoids, manifolds, trouble shooting, Performing control valve diagnostics and adjustments. Maintain engineering area is safe, kept clean and in an orderly manner. Keep close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation. The applicant must be capable of working independently within all health and safety guidelines. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:- Minimum Technical, Trade or Vocational Certificate/Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 years’ experience in the relevant maintenance techniques of instrumentation systems used in oil and gas industry or power plants. Multi-Skilled Technician will be highly preferred. Ability to Read and follow blueprints / schematics Good understanding of International & Local Code Demonstrated knowledge of Tools and Instrumentation. Understanding of maintenance inventory and requisition of parts and supplies as needed. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Flexible approach and ability to generate a team approach to problem solving. Working Conditions:- This position is considered Power Plants which is characterized as follows. Almost exclusively indoors/outdoors during the day and occasionally at night Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place Work surface may be unstable, work positioning and work restraint required using Rope Access. Location: United Arab Emirates Vacancies:- Multiple Duration- 3 Months with possible scope of extension. All expenses related to Visa processing, other government fees and Medical formalities, shall be borne by PLUS UAE. Company shall also provide food, accommodation and transportation to the site.
