Jd Manpower Consultanc is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Instrument Technician in their office located in SAUDI ARABIA. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 2-10 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
Instrument technicians are responsible for maintaining and operating instruments used in medical or scientific procedures. They may also be involved in the development, testing, and production of such equipment. Instrument technicians often require a specialized education and experience to carry out their duties effectively. Some common tasks that they may perform include fixing broken instruments, calibrating devices, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing maintenance work on instrumentation.
1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Minimum of two years instrument technician experience is necessary to be considered for employment as an Instrument Technician in most cases.
3. Must have good problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude, along with the ability to read schematics and understand how instruments work mechanically from a wiring perspective.
4 Knowledge of computer-aided engineering (CAE) software programs is typically beneficial, particularly when it comes to troubleshooting malfunctions on complex instruments or systems..
5 An understanding of basic electronics principles may also be helpful, though not always required for entry level positions as Instrument Technicians
1. Instrument Technician must have a good understanding of electrical schematics and be skilled in troubleshooting electronic equipment 2. Instrument Technician must have knowledge of various measurement devices such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters etc 3. Knowledge about mechanics is also required for instrument technician 4. Functions:- Calibrate, Testing and troubleshooting of all types of field instruments as per International/Manufacturer standards. Calibration of transmitters and gauges. Replacement of switches, solenoids, manifolds, trouble shooting, Performing control valve diagnostics and adjustments. Maintain engineering area is safe, kept clean and in an orderly manner. Keep close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation. The applicant must be capable of working independently within all health and safety guidelines. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:- Minimum Technical, Trade or Vocational Certificate/Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 years’ experience in the relevant maintenance techniques of instrumentation systems used in oil and gas industry or power plants. Multi-Skilled Technician will be highly preferred. Ability to Read and follow blueprints / schematics Good understanding of International & Local Code Demonstrated knowledge of Tools and Instrumentation. Understanding of maintenance inventory and requisition of parts and supplies as needed. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Flexible approach and ability to generate a team approach to problem solving. Working Conditions:- This position is considered Power Plants which is characterized as follows. Almost exclusively indoors/outdoors during the day and occasionally at night Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place Work surface may be unstable, work positioning and work restraint required using Rope Access. Location: United Arab Emirates Vacancies:- Multiple Duration- 3 Months with possible scope of extension. All expenses related to Visa processing, other government fees and Medical formalities, shall be borne by PLUS UAE. Company shall also provide food, accommodation and transportation to the site.
