What is a Instrument Technician?

An instrument technician is a professional who repairs, calibrates and maintains instruments used in scientific or research work. Instrument technicians may also be responsible for the installation of new instruments. They usually have a degree in engineering or science.

What qualifications are required to become a Instrument Technician?
