What is a Instrument Technician?

An Instrument Technician is a person who repairs, maintains and calibrates instruments used in scientific research or other industrial applications. They may also be responsible for providing training to users of these instruments. In some cases they may work on single specific instrument while others might have responsibility for the operation of an entire lab's instrumentation.

What qualifications are required to become a Instrument Technician?

1) In order to become an Instrument Technician, you will need a degree in instrument technology or related field.

2) You will also need experience working with instruments and have good knowledge of calibration procedures.

3) You will need excellent technical skills including the ability to troubleshoot and fix equipment.

4) Finally, you must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
