What is a Marble Mason?

A Marble Mason is a skilled artisan who uses marble to create beautiful objects. They may work with other materials such as stone, wood, or metal, but the most common use for their skills is in making statues and other sculptures of people or animals.

What qualifications are required to become a Marble Mason?

1. A person must be able to read and write English fluently.

2. The applicant must have at least 5 years of experience as a mason in a professional setting, such as being employed by or contracted with an existing marble company.

3. Applicants need to have strong manual dexterity and the ability to work independently under pressure; they should also have good problem-solving skills and be comfortable working with both hand tools and power saws/machines.

4. Knowledge of traditional mortise & tenon joinery is required, along with some understanding of stone fabrication techniques (e..g., quarrying, milling).

5. applicants are typically screened for drug abuse before acceptance into our program
