What is a Mason

A Mason is a male member of the fraternity known as Freemasonry. In addition to its charitable work, Freemasonry teaches many principles that are important in daily life, such as loyalty, brotherhood, and morality. Masons also usually belong to one of three degrees: Entered Apprentice (the first degree), Fellowcraft (second degree), or Master Mason (third degree).

What qualifications are required to become a Mason

A Mason (General) must be: a male; at least 18 years of age; have been members in good standing for two year prior to applying for membership in a Master Mason degree or higher body politic within the Masonic Fraternity, and pass an examination on Freemasonry.
