What is a Mason

A Mason is a man who has been initiated into the Masonic order. He is also known as a General, because he serves as an officer in one of the three degrees of Freemasonry. In addition to his duties within Masonry, a General often provides leadership and guidance to other members of the order.

What qualifications are required to become a Mason

- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Able to read, write and speak English

- Are freeborn citizens of the United States or Canada

- Have not been convicted by a court of law of a felony (excluding traffic violations)

What are the skills required to become a Mason

The skills required to become a Mason (General) vary depending on the jurisdiction in which you reside.
