What is a Mason

A Mason (General) is a male who has been initiated into the Masonic order. He serves as an advisor to his fellow Masons and helps guide them in their spiritual journey. A Mason (General) also assists other members of the organization during special events or ceremonies.

What qualifications are required to become a Mason

1. Must be a man

2. Age 21 or older

3. Able to read, write and speak the English language

4. A belief in God (or a organized religion) is not required but is encouraged

5. Have an interest in architecture, engineering, masonry or any other related field

What are the skills required to become a Mason

1. Knowledge of the symbols and ceremonies associated with Freemasonry.

2. Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic skills.
