What is a Mason

A Mason (General) is a member of the Royal Arch Chapter, who has received all the degrees in Freemasonry. He is responsible for conducting Masonic ceremonies and representing Masonry to non-Masons.

What qualifications are required to become a Mason

1. Minimum age of 21 years

2. Must be a man

3. Residence in one of the United States or its possessions, or have permanent residence and place of business therein

4. Aged 18 years or older at time of application for membership

5. Able to read and write English
