What is a Mechanical Draftsman?

A Mechanical Draftsman is a professional who designs and creates drawings for products or buildings. They use drafting tools such as rulers, compasses, squares, and triangles to create accurate plans of objects or structures. The draftsman may also consult with engineers during the design process in order to ensure that the plan will meet all safety requirements.

What qualifications are required to become a Mechanical Draftsman?

1. A Mechanical Draftsman should have a degree in Engineering or related field

2. They must be able to create engineering drawings using CAD software

3. Must have good attention to detail and strong drafting skills

4. Must be familiar with basic principles of mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics etc
