What is a Mechanical Helper?

A Mechanical Helper is an assistive device that helps people with disabilities live more independently. They can help people with mobility issues, Reynaud's disease, and cerebral palsy by providing assistance such as walking or wheelchair access. Some mechanical helpers also have sensors that allow them to detect when a person has fallen and will automatically stop whatever they are doing to help the individual up.

What qualifications are required to become a Mechanical Helper?

1. Must be able to read and understand blueprints or drawings of mechanical equipment 2. Must have experience working with hand tools 3. Demonstrated ability to work independently 4. Ability to follow verbal, written and diagrams instructions 5. Good communication and problem solving skills
