International Trade Links is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of QA/QC Engineer in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a HR CONSULTANCY with a team of 11-50 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A QA engineer is responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of software products. They work with developers to make sure that the code they produce meets specific standards, and can be easily verified by other members of the development team. In addition, a QC engineer may also conduct their own testing on products before release in order to ensure accurate results.
A degree in engineering is required, as well as a certification from the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). Additionally, experience working with software testing tools and methodologies is essential. QA engineers typically have strong analytical skills and knowledge of software development processes. They also must be familiar with common quality assurance techniques such as defect tracking systems, test management plans, and manual or Automated Test Procedures.
1. Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve.
2. Experience in software development, QA/QC or testing disciplines is a bonus but not essential for this role.
3. A good understanding of computer hardware and software systems is also beneficial as it will help you identify potential issues with code or applications before they become publicised problems .
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary so that you can effectively communicate your findings to both developers and other members of the team responsible for quality control .
5. In addition to possessing strong technical abilities , having experience working collaboratively within teams is also highly desirable as this position involves joining forces with others in order to achieve common goals
