What is a QA/QC STATIC ENGINEER?

A QA/QC static engineer is a professional with the knowledge and skills to ensure that products meet all quality requirements during manufacturing, distribution, and use. They may also be responsible for conducting product testing and investigations. A key part of their job is ensuring that processes are followed correctly throughout the production process to prevent defects from occurring. Other responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications before beginning work on projects, providing feedback to engineers in charge of creating products, documenting findings related to quality assurance activities, mentoring junior staff members in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), helping establish standards within an organization's QC department or project team as needed, training workers involved in QC functions on how best to conduct inspections / tests etc., maintaining records tracking any corrective actions taken as a result of identified problems

What qualifications are required to become a QA/QC STATIC ENGINEER?

1. Certification in QA/QC Static Engineer from an accredited body such as ASQ, CSA or ISO;

2. Minimum of two years experience performing quality assurance and QC procedures on static engine systems;

3. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines;

4. Familiarity with engineering design principles and practices for propulsion machinery including gas turbines, propellers and turbochargers;

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What are the skills required to become a QA/QC STATIC ENGINEER?

- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools

- Experience with static analysis and code quality assurance techniques

- Familiarity with coding standards, design patterns, unit testing frameworks, etc.
