A QC Engineer is a professional engineer who reviews and approves the quality of products or services. They may also be responsible for ensuring that these products meet specific standards set by regulatory bodies, such as UL (Underwriters Laboratories). A QC Engineer typically has a degree in engineering technology or related field.
1. A degree in engineering from a reputable university
2. Previous work experience as an engineer
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Proven track record of delivering high quality products/services
5. Strong commitment to ethics, standards and safety
The skills required to become a QC Engineer include strong problem solving abilities, excellent critical thinking skills, knowledge of engineering principles and techniques, experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software programs, familiarity with industrial testing methods and procedures. Additionally, QC Engineers must have well-developed communication and teamwork skills.
