A rope access technician is a person who has special training and skills in using ropes to get into difficult or dangerous locations. They may be employed by businesses, government agencies, or private companies. Rope access technicians are often called on to help rescuers evacuate people from buildings after accidents or natural disasters.
1. A minimum of 2 years rope access experience is required to become a Rope Access Technician.
2. Must be able to read and write clearly, lift 50 lbs., and have excellent attention span and organizational skills.
3.Must exhibit safety awareness at all times while working with ropes or climbing equipment- always use proper fall protection when using these tools!
4. Familiarity with basic knots (eagle loop, overhand knot) will help in the job rotation process as well as on emergency repairs/recovery situations; knowledge of rappelling systems also helpful but not necessary for technician position eligibility).
5. Possess good problem solving skills- able to think outside the box when it comes time to troubleshoot rigging issues

The Job Opportunity The supervision of the Customer Service Representative team to ensure the safe delivery of a reliable, world class façade cleaning and BMU operations. Key accountabilities • Supervision and control of façade cleaners’ movements and ensuring they adhere to predetermined schedules. Able to assess and implement changes to minimise delays or disruptions. • Lead by example, a team of Customer Service Representatives in the provision of a safe, reliable, world class customer focused service • Liaise with Maintenance Team to ensure availability of façade cleaners. • Report incidents, failures or events that impact on safety or service performance to the line manager. • Inform the line manager of any operating conditions that deviate from normal conditions • Manage and modify, when required, the schedule timeframe to cater for unexpected events • Assist the Line manager in the co-ordination and monitoring of Rope Access and BMU work requirements What we are looking for in our candidates • A mature proactive and responsible approach to work with initiative and problem-solving capability • Good literacy, numerical and analytical skills • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently • Strong organisational skills Specific requirements • Ideally a degree holder or higher diploma of post-secondary education in a related discipline • Understanding of façade cleaning operation controls such as staff supervision, train regulation, manual route setting • Understanding of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook • Ability to liaise in a professional manner with staff at all levels within the organisation • Ideally holder of a UAE driving licence • Minimum 3 years’ experience of front-line customer service façade cleaning operations role.
