What is a Sales Coordinator/Executive?

A Sales Coordinator/Executive is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for their organization. They work with the Senior Management to ensure that company goals are met through sales activity. The coordinator must have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a knowledge of business practices within the industry they sell in.

What qualifications are required to become a Sales Coordinator/Executive?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not necessary.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as a Sales Coordinator/Executive will be working with a wide range of people from all backgrounds and levels of expertise on a daily basis.

4. Strong organizational abilities are also key – the Sales Coordinator/Executive must have strong attention to detail and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with ease, while always keeping their clients' best interests at heart (and ensuring that work deadlines are met).
