What qualifications are required to become a Steel Welder?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required

2. Minimum welding certification of AWWA #66 or AWS #5 (or a State Certification as applicable)

3.Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

4. Must be able to work in an outdoor environment with exposure to the elements for extended periods of time

5. Be physically fit and have good hand-eye coordination
