- certification from the National Fabrication Association (NFA) or American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Structural Welding Certification, or other relevant certifications desired are also desirable.

-Must be able to read blueprints and understand engineering drawings/sketches.

- Must have good welding skills, including ability to use MIG welders and TIG welders safely with proper shielding gas usage..

- Experience working on large scale projects preferred
