What qualifications are required to become a Switch Gear Electrician

1. A switch gear electrician must have a minimum of an apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical engineering.

2. Must be able to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

3. Must be able to use common tools such as hand saws, wrenches, hammers, screw drivers etc..

4. Must possess strong math skills including vector analysis and calculus for troubleshooting purposes .

5. Ability work quickly under pressure while being accurate with measurements
