What is a Tailor?

A tailor is someone who creates custom clothing by altering an existing garment. Tailors may also create new garments from scratch. They typically work with fabric and can make alterations such as adding a waistline, lengthening or shortening sleeves, and changing the shape of the hem

What qualifications are required to become a Tailor?

1. A good eye for detail and the ability to sew accurately are essential skills for a tailor.

2. Tailors need to have strong sewing skills, as well as knowledge about different fabrics and how they should be cut or sewn together.

3. Must also have experience in cutting patterns out from fabric swatches, measuring body sizes, and being familiar with various types of stitching machines available on the market today.

4. Must also be able to work quickly under pressure while staying calm under difficult circumstances (elements of stress that can often arise during tailoring).

5.(Bonus) It is important for tailors to possess excellent communication abilities both verbally and written
