A Tig & Arc Welder is a machine that uses arc welding to join metal pieces together. It works by using an electric current to create a weld between the two metals.

What qualifications are required to become a Tig & Arc Welder?

1. Experience welding metal - Tig & Arc Welder experience is necessary to qualify for the position.

2. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail - The welder must be able to see details in their work while maintaining a good level of concentration and accuracy.

3. Strong math skills - Must be proficient with basic math, including fractions and decimals, as well as calculus basics (derivatives).

4. Basic understanding of engineering principles - In order to create accurate welds, the welder must have a basic understanding of engineering principals such as heat transfer rates and joint geometries..

5. Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings accurately – To ensure proper alignment during fabrication or repair jobs, the welder needs an ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately
