What is a Tig & Arc Welder?

A Tig & Arc Welder is a type of welder that uses a tungsten electrode and an arc to weld metal. It can be used for welding metals with different alloys, such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper.

What qualifications are required to become a Tig & Arc Welder?

1. A Tig & Arc Welder must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be authorized to weld by the state in which they reside.

2. They must also have passed an apprenticeship program that includes at least 1500 hours of welding experience, including 500 hours working with TIG torches.

3. Finally, they will need certification from one of the leading welding organizations such as The Welding Institute (TWI).
