Job Description

HVAC Electrician Electrician Responsibilities:  Responsible for installing and maintaining the electrical components in an HVAC system, including all electrical wiring and controls. These are mostly heating and air conditioning systems, but also include ventilation, refrigeration or other climate-control systems.  Should be Trained in both the mechanical and electrical aspects of HVAC work.  Knowledge of electrical theory and safety is necessary and Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.  Performing general electrical Preventive Maintenance / Corrective Maintenance & other electrical systems assisting the HVAC team .  Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.  Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.  Following the local building regulations.  Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.  Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment is necessary. Electrician Requirements: • Minimum 5 years Experience in Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in HVAC industry.. • Experience working as an electrician in Industrial, Commercial and Residential Buildings. • Electrician ITI/Diploma or Degree from a technical college. • Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair knowledge. • Added advantage if having knowledge in BMS systems and also experience in the Power Plants / HVAC Industry or Renewable energy field or larger facilities, including office buildings, schools, hospitals and factories.
