Develop sourcing and procurement activities that support key business objectives.
Develop and execute the sourcing/procurement plan and strategies across all categories within span of control including targets, timelines and resource plans.
Ensure the execution of standards, controls, policies, procedures and performance metrics to effectively and efficiently manage the sourcing spend across PPM/SPM.
Implement best practices in procurement and supplier management to support commercial and operational objectives.
Ensure optimization of inventory as per the business need and intelligence to ensure uninterrupted business value chain.
Drive procurement deliverables within budget, track, understand and deploy actionable to reduce or eliminate variances."
Analyze procurement related market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
Deploy short term/long term strategies to facilitate improvement in procurement services.
Deploy procurement deliverables based on changing market conditions and oversee contract development and administration.
Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Build robust technological platform to prepare, maintain and evaluate procurement supplier database for ease of making decisions.
Plan and track progress, variances and corrective actions of deliverables through MIS."

Develop, manage and maintain a database of vendor qualification and lead the process of
creating preferred/approved vendor list.
Propose and devise measures to improve current practices and procedures related to PPM/SPM.
Build market intelligence capabilities on key markets, suppliers and solutions to support procurement development purposes.
Develop, maintain, deploy and on-time evaluation of alternate cost and process efficient ""Alternate Vendor Development"""
Develop and implement strong communication and leadership connect within team and concerned stakeholders across the organization.
Establish, communicate and implement long-term/short term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop, communicate and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals.
Develop and implement procurement-related training programs for the procurement team and organization.
Conduct and participate in business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess supply chain risk, review deployment status of key deliverables and potential cost improvement opportunities."
Ensure "Good Procurement Practices" in principle and in process to meet all time "Statutory, Legal, Quality, and Safety" compliances.
Deploy, track and sustain ethical and moral practices amongst team members.
Track changes in procurement related guidelines in regulatory framework (government, agencies or pharmacopoeial) and ensure all time adherence to meet acceptable practices.
Guide and track all legal clauses in repetitive rate contracts agreement along with special/necessary provisions in one-time purchase agreement/s.
Plan and implement ""Vendor approval process"" by adhering to ""Corporate Quality Assurance"" guidelines.
