Sales Assistant Your Job Responsibilities : *Greeting customers and assisting them with any queries. *Reporting Store up on a daily basis to a manager or supervisor. *Ensuring the store’s stock is constantly replenished. *Helping other staff with items drop off. *Keeping up to date with the features and benefits of each product. *Managing customer transactions. Working hours *You are expected to be flexible because your working hours depend entirely on when the store is open for business. *Don’t expect a 9-to-5 job! In retail, you could be asked to work on any day from Saturday to Friday, and weekend work is common. You will also be required to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings. In some cases, you’ll even be asked to work split shifts, which means working a few hours in the morning, taking a break, and returning later in the afternoon. As rotas are split up into shifts, it is highly probable that you’ll work entirely different hours and days from one week to the next.
