In this role your core responsibilities include creating reservations, quoting fares and issuing of tickets. You will serve customers professionally through telephone or in person to achieve customer satisfaction and generate revenue. In addition, you will liaise with all airline personnel to ensure maximum support to passengers and immediate attention to queries relating to clearance and dispute of ADM’s, special handling requests and other issues.
You must also have a fair knowledge of World Geography, excellent English Language communication skills - spoken/written, the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow
Extensive knowledge of Galileo , Amadeus and Sabre ticketing software
Ability to handle high volume of customer interaction while delivering exceptional service
Professionally assist and follow through with resolution of guest complaints
Assist in the resolution of all guest complaints
Exceptional processing of tickets, be it new issues, refunds or exchanges, including all calculations
Providing world-class phone and email customer service to our diverse clientele, from patrons needing assistance with web bookings to concierge desks purchasing tickets for their guests
A recognized IATA or Airline Advanced Passenger Tariff and Pricing Course
Strong experience of working within a ticketing environment
Experience of working in a fast paced customer service environment
Proven ability to manage Sales with due regards to the revenue
