Sgaf Technical Services is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of AC Technician in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 2-10 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
An AC technician is a person who repairs, installs and maintains air conditioning equipment. They may also work on heating systems.
1. A minimum of an associate's degree in electrical engineering or related technology is required to become a AC Technician.
2. Experience working with AC systems is also beneficial, as are skills in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
3. Candidates must be able to read schematics and understand wiring diagrams, as well as have knowledge of safe work practices when dealing with electricity and electronic devices.
4. Certification from one of the many professional organizations that certify technicians such as The National Electrical Code (NEC) requires completion of rigorous training courses specific to AC repair/installation procedures).
5.. Finally, good customer service skills are essential for any technician who works within residential or commercial settings where customers may be interacting with them on a regular basis

Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Minimum 3-5 years of Experience in a Maintenance Company. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. Providing technical direction and on-the-job training. Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. Assisting with customers' queries. Arranges for equipment installation for Jobs. Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating. Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice. Ability to work in confined spaces. Keep all tools in good working condition.
