What is a Accounts Admin?

A Accounts Admin is a person who oversees the financial accounts of an organization. They are responsible for ensuring that all money spent by the organization is properly accounted for, and they may also be involved in overseeing day-to-day operations such as accounting software and bank deposits.

What qualifications are required to become a Accounts Admin?

A college degree in accounting or business administration is required. At a minimum, experience working with accounts receivable and invoicing systems is desirable. Familiarity with computer software programs such as Excel and Word is also beneficial.

What are the skills required to become a Accounts Admin?

1. Good communication and organization skills

2. Strong computer literacy - including understanding office software, databases and internet usage

3. Proven experience working with accounts payable processes and systems

4. Experience handling customer relationships both in a professional setting as well as on social media platforms such as Facebook or Twitter
