What is a Accounts Admin?

A Accounts Administrator is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of an accounting department. They ensure accurate financial records are kept, manage budgets and report to management on performance. Additionally, they may provide guidance to employees in the area of bookkeeping and accounts payable.

What qualifications are required to become a Accounts Admin?

1. A degree in accounting or related field is required.

2. Previous experience as an accounts admin is preferred but not necessary.

3. Excellent organization and communication skills are key, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously efficiently and effectively.

4.. Experience working within a software system such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel is desired, though not essential for the role of Accounts Admin .
