A Accounts Admin is responsible for maintaining the accounts of clients or customers and ensuring that all financial transactions are conducted in a timely manner. Additionally, an Accounts Admin may be tasked with resolving disputes between clients or customers.
1. A degree in accounting or a related field is required.
2. Previous experience working with accounts payable and accounts receivable systems is ideal.
3. Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills are necessary for this position.
4. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel) are essential for the Accounts Admin role as well as knowledge of database software such as MySQL/MariaDB or Oracle Database Management System (ODBMS).
5. Good customer service skills are also beneficial since many companies require applicants to have some account-related experience before being hired on full time basis
